Please read these Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") carefully before using the Prom Royale website or making a purchase. By accessing our site and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. General Acceptance and Governing Law
1.1. Acceptance: These T&Cs apply to all users and cover both online and in-store transactions.
1.2. Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.
2. Product Information and Orders
2.1. Product Accuracy: We make every effort to display the colors and details of our gowns accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display will accurately reflect the colour of the product. Due to the couture nature of our items, minor variations in fabric or embellishment may occur.
2.2. Availability: All orders are subject to availability. Items marked as "Pre-Order" will have an estimated arrival date communicated upon payment.
2.3. Order Acceptance: Your receipt of an email confirmation is not acceptance of your order. Acceptance, and the formation of the contract of sale, is completed only when we dispatch the item and send you a dispatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including stock limitations, pricing errors, or failure to authorise payment.
3. Pricing, Payment and Cancellation
3.1. Pricing: All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and are quoted in GBP (£).
3.2. Pricing Errors: If we discover an error in the price of any goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it.
3.3. Payment Security: All payment methods are securely handled, and we do not store any credit or debit card information on our servers.
4. Online Purchase Policy (Shipping & Returns)
4.1. Online purchases are strictly governed by our Shipping, Returns & Exchange Policy, which outlines conditions for returns, exchanges, shipping costs, and time frames.
5. In-Store Transactions & Full-Length Gowns
5.1. In-Store Policy: All transactions and services conducted at our Glasgow Showroom are governed by our In-Store & Prom Promise Policy (Document 3).
5.2. Full-Length Gowns & Special Orders: Due to the bespoke and seasonal nature of our full-length Prom Dresses and formal gowns, these items are subject to specific conditions: * No Refunds/Exchanges: No refunds or exchanges are offered for full-length gowns, bespoke items, or pre-ordered special occasion wear purchased in-store. * Deposit/Payment: A 100% non-refundable deposit is required for bespoke services and all pre-ordered gowns. If an event is cancelled, or you choose not to wear the dress, the full balance remains payable.
6. Alterations and Tailoring
6.1. All altered or tailored items—whether purchased in-store or online—are considered bespoke and are NON-REFUNDABLE once the alteration work has been agreed upon and commenced.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. Prom Royale is not liable for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) you may suffer as a result of a third party procuring unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from this site, unless caused by our proven negligence.
